Mercy Hospital Perry Auxiliary has made a lifesaving donation to two local schools. The Auxiliary presented the AEDs to Perry County School District 32 and St. Vincent Schools on May 14. Pictured are (from left) Mercy Supervisor of Volunteer Services Jessica Krauss, Auxiliary volunteers Helen Moll, Marcia Comstock, and Stella Best, St. Vincent Schools nurse Kelsey Rice, District 32 Assistant Superintendent Craig Hayden, District 32 nurse Stefany Layton, District 32 Safety Director Garrett Schott, and Auxiliary volunteers Dianne Brown, Carol Thieret, Marcia Johnson, and Judy Pfaff. "We're very grateful for this incredible gift from Mercy's Auxiliary," Hayden said. "The local hospital has been a longtime partner with our schools in keeping the children of our community safe and healthy. Once again, they have filled a critical need on our campuses that may some day save a life."
