Three more chances to see adaptation of Dickens’ classic taleYou have three more chances to enjoy Perry County Middle School Pegleg Players’ production of “A Christmas Carol,” the timeless story of Ebenezer Scrooge by Charles Dickens. This adaptation, by Burton Bumgarner, is directed by Mr. Robbie Riehn and made its debut Thursday evening. The show continues at 7 pm Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3, and a matinee show begins at 2 pm Sunday, Dec. 4. Performances are held in the Old Senior High Performing Arts Auditorium. The cast includes Jared Stortz as Ebenezer Scrooge, Lynlea Seabaugh as Bob Cratchit, and Riley Kemp as Jacob Marley. Mason Seabaugh plays Tiny Tim, Kiana Phillips is Peter Cratchit, Abby Bridges is Mrs. Cratchit, and Raegan Mattingly is Martha Cratchit. The narrators are Abby Erzfeld, Calee Meyers, Jazmine Welsch, Bella Fetterhoff, and Willow Camden. Laura Dunn plays Fred, Tessa Staggs and Shalynne Tolliver are the charity ladies, and the carolers are played by Jazmine Welsh, Taylor Cox, Abby Bridges, Bella Fetterhoff, and Ziva Thurman. Taylor Cox is The Ghost of Christmas Past, Desirae Cottner is the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Riley Kemp is the Ghost of Christmas Future. Mason Seabaugh is young Scrooge, Jaden Berkbuegler is Abigail, Abriana Hotop is Teresa, and Avah Davis is Charlotte. Lily Choate plays the fan, Sophia Coppaway and Bella Fetterhoff share the role of Belle, and Karlie Kannenberg plays Belle’s husband. Belle’s children are played by Makenna Schemel, Avah Davis, Abriana Hotop, Jaden Berkbuegler, Hope Endicott, and Natalee Petree. Kaeli Feltenz and Addelynne Kirn play girls, Marissa Heberlie plays Regina, Solara Syfert plays Bonnie, Hope Endicott plays Ignorance and Natalee Petree plays Want. Lyza Chappius and Adisyn Vernon play ladies, Zachary Seyer plays Joe, and Grace Buchheit is Mrs. Dilber. Kiana Phillips plays the butcher and Montana Lawless played the passing boy. The stage managers are Paige Flentge and Zachary Seyer. Mrs. Jennifer Birk-Cook is the show costumer, Peyton Hudson is the lighting tech, Cheyenne Lawless is the spotlight tech, Ryleigh Schulein and Gabe Krieger are the sound techs, and Lexi Amschler is the make-up assistant.
