Perry County Middle School

Two Perry County Middle School students have been accepted to attend the Vocal Arts Camp at Murray State University in Kentucky this summer. Garret Riehn and Abigail Bridges, both eighth graders, will attend the weeklong camp from June 9-15. Vocal Arts Camp immerses high school students, including rising freshmen, in the art of vocal music. Choral music, musical theatre, pop, a cappella, and solo music will be explored throughout the week. Faculty and staff will teach a variety of classes that include musicianship, voice lessons, and a special topics music seminar. Campers will spend the week rehearsing a variety of fun and challenging music that will be presented during the Saturday morning student showcase.
