Dr. John Cross has received the 2025 Unsung Heroes of MSTA (Missouri State Teachers Association) Award. He serves on the board of directors of the MSTA Southeast Region.
This award recognizes members who have made a substantive yet unrecognized contribution to MSTA and our mission to advocate for and empower public educators so they can teach. Recipients were chosen by the MSTA member service coordinators and honored in person at the MSTA Convention.
"John stepped into leadership for his county teachers association at a time when he was needed," said MSTA Member Service Coordinator Tracy Darian. "He brings positivity to his district and is always smiling."
