Mrs. Kellie Engert, PPC, Physical Education, is the April #TPT

Our April #TeacherProudTuesday shout-out goes to Ms. Kellie Engert.

Her nomination says, “Coach Engert goes above and beyond for her students.  She is patient and loving to all her students and creates fun activities that not only help them learn ways to stay in shape but build friendships, confidence, and a sense of team spirit. She provides the first physical education experience and plants seeds that will ultimately grow to become future D32 athletes. Every year Coach Engert organizes a wonderful field day for our students and staff to enjoy and share with our community. This is a huge undertaking, but she does it with a great deal of grace and a positive attitude. Kellie is a team player and always lends a hand wherever needed. She is a great leader for her special area team and is a voice for her team. She advocates for our special area programs and teachers. No matter how busy she is, if one of our team needs help, she is the first one to jump in, helping with everything from the music program, art displays, family fun night, book fairs, STEAM nights, or anything else. Kellie has one of the biggest hearts for education that I’ve ever seen! District 32 is lucky to have her.”
