Photos of PHS vocalists who earned Gold or Silver at the District Solo and Ensemble Festival

Twenty-one Perryville High School vocalists have qualified for the Missouri State Solo and Ensemble Festival to be held in may at the University of Missouri-Columbia. 

Fifteen vocal events earned Gold (Exemplary) ratings at the district contest, and seven vocal events earned Silver (Outstanding) ratings. 

Soloists earning Gold ratings include Rosemarie Baker-Mosely, Abigail Bridges, Kathryn Broeking, Sofia Buerck, Chloe Cox, Taylor Cox, Taylor Ebersohl, Gwynivere Newbrough, Alyson Peeler, Ayla Schuler, Joselyn Schweiss, and Grady Warren. 

Ensembles that earned Gold ratings were the Perryville Freshmen and Junior ensemble, the SSAA Octet, and the Pretty Little Lobsters. 

The Freshmen and Junior ensemble includes Abigail Bridges, Lillian Cowell, Alyson Peeler, Jocelyn Schweiss, Emma Taylor, and Adalynn Thieret. 

The SSA Octet includes Kathryn Broeking, Chloe Cox, Taylor Ebersohl, Josephine Lohmann, Gwynivere Newbrough, Alyson Peeler, Ayla Schuler, and Jocelyn Schweiss. 

The Pretty Little Lobsters ensemble includes Sofia Buerck, Kodin Cairns, Hallie Figge, Camryn Heim, Makenna Schemel, and Ziva Thurman. 

Soloists earning Silver ratings were Blake Bodendieck, Kodin Cairns, Kylea Dickens, Josephine Lohmann, Xavier Pfaff, and Jared Stortz. 

Also earning a Silver rating was the Perryville SAB Sextet of Katie Baggett, Atlas Birk, Eloise Bollinger, Gwynivere Newbrough, Xavier Pfaff, and Jared Stortz. 

The PHS Choirs are directed by Ms. Taylor Davis.
