Perryville High School Band brought home medals in 12 categories from the District Solo and Ensemble Festival on March 1, including five gold, six silver, and two bronze medals. Those students who earned a Gold rating will perform again in May at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Earning Gold ratings were:

• Hallie Figge, Soprano Clarinet Solo
• Kristina Kishbaugh, Flute Solo
Earning Silver ratings were:
• The Mixed Woodwind Quartet of Kathryn Broeking, Allison Cowell, Taylor Ebersohl, and Hallie Figge
• The Saxophone Quintet of Sofia Buerck, Anthony Del Rosario, Cara Fulmer, Makayla Iffert, and Grady Warren
• Evelyn Mote-Fabian, Soprano Clarinet Solo
• Taylor Cox, Alto Saxophone Solo
• Ziva Thurman, Trumpet Solo
• Ziva Thurman, Piano Solo
Earning Bronze ratings were:
• The Miscellaneous Woodwind Ensemble of Kathryn Broeking, Chloe Cox, Christopher Linhorst, Hazel Mudge, Ava Robles, Addalyn Weibrecht, and Claire Zahner
• Kathryn Broeking Soprano Clarinet Solo
